Principal

Rachel is an experienced Family Lawyer with a strong focus on collaborative, cooperative practice.

Prior to becoming a Lawyer, Rachel worked in the area of child welfare. Prior to founding Halcyon Legal, Rachel previously worked with other respected Melbourne firms, where she practised in both Family and Criminal Law.

As Principal Family Lawyer at Halcyon Legal, Rachel works passionately to assist clients to overcome the challenges in front of them, enabling them to move forward with their lives positively.

From a personal perspective, Rachel is a long-time Foster Carer and advocates passionately for the needs of children in out-of-home care.

Skylah Cox

Paralegal

Skylah is Halcyon Legal's resident Paralegal, having worked mostly in retail management previously and with a desire to pursue a career in acting in her spare time.

Skylah loves organising people and systems, and motivates everyone else to be organised too, making her the ideal Paralegal. She's a typing whizz with a keen interest in Family Law and genuinely cares about our clients and their outcomes. 

Aside from work, Skylah loves live music, singing and playing guitar.
