Rachel Cox

Principal

Rachel is an experienced Family Lawyer, having practised exclusively in parenting and property matters for over 12 years.

Prior to becoming a Lawyer, Rachel worked in the area of child welfare and has a particularly strong interest in (and understanding of) the psychology behind family dynamics. She also has extensive experience working with families where children have additional needs to consider in parenting arrangements.

As Principal Family Lawyer at Halcyon Legal, Rachel works passionately to assist clients to overcome the challenges in front of them, enabling them to move forward with the next chapter of their lives having been placed in the best possible position, both in relation to parenting and finances/property.

Rachel is also a long-time Foster Carer and has previously held the position of a Director of the Law Institute of Victoria.

Skylah Cox

Legal/Administrative Assistant

Skylah is Halcyon Legal's resident part-time Legal/Administrative Assistant.

Skylah loves organising people and systems and will assist you empathetically and promptly with your accounts queries. She's a typing whizz with a keen interest in Family Law and genuinely cares about our clients and their outcomes. 

Aside from work, Skylah has a passion for live music, singing and playing guitar.
